One Direction may have only been away from the UK for a few weeks but by the hysteria of their fans at London's Heathrow yesterday (April 24) it was like they'd been away for years.
The bands devoted fans greeted them with open arms and screams as the boys arrived back in the UK.
They jetted into London this last night from Auckland,following a promotional tour of the US, Australia and New Zealand.
The lads were more than happy to stop and pose for photos and chat and sign autographs for fans.
Also waiting eagerly to see them was Louis Tomlinson's girlfriend Eleanor Calder.
Niall Horan took to his Twitter page and wrote: ''Yessss! Back in london! Sleep for the next week, don't wana see a sole.''
One Direction made history as the first UK group to debut at No.1 on the BillBoard chart with their album 'Up All Night'.
The band are set to fly back America next month for a 24-date tour of the country, starting in Fairfax, Virginia on May 24.
