One Direction's Harry Styles, 18, is one of the biggest teen idols in the world right now. And because he is single, fans and celebrity media are interested in whom he might be dating. Now comes news that 18-year-old American model Emma Ostilly has flown to New Zealand (where One Direction is touring in late April 2012), so that she can be with Styles, according to the Daily Mirror.
Paparazzi photos caught Ostilly and Styles sharing a steamy kiss while out on one of their late-night dates. The Daily Mirror reports that Ostilly has been staying at a private residence in Auckland, New Zealand, but she has spent time with Styles at his hotel while they are in New Zealand.
An eyewtiness who saw Styles and Ostilly on one of their bar-hopping dates told the Daily Mirror: “They really seemed to have a connection and only had eyes for each other ... They were enjoying themselves, laughing and joking together. They seemed very happy and relaxed and you could tell they have a history together. The pictures show they are still close.”
Styles posted a photo of him and Ostilly on the Internet.
Ostilly and Styles met in October 2011, when they filmed One Direction's "Gotta Be You" music video in Lake Placid, New York. Ostilly was a model in the video. (One Direction's "Gotta Be You" was a No. 3 hit on the U.K. singles chart)
The members of One Direction have described Styles in many interviews as being the group's biggest "flirt" or "ladies' man." He dated "The Xtra Factor" co-host Caroline Flack, 32, from October 2011 to January 2012. He said on Twitter that their breakup was a mutual decision.
After splitting from Flack, Styles has been romantically linked to several women, including 19-year-old singer Lily Halpern and 24-year-old photographer Sarah-Louise Colivet. He is also apparently keeping his options open, since reports have surfaced that he is on the prowl for new women to date.
"The Bachelorette" star Jillian Harris, 32, and Australian journalist Elle Halliwell, 25, both went to the media with stories about how Styles made advances on them in April 2012, but they rejected him. Harris said it is because she thinks Styles is too young for her, and Halliwell said she is not interested in him because she is engaged to be married. (Halliwell says she was wearing her engagement ring the entire time she spent with Styles when she interviewed him.)
One Direction came in third place on "The X Factor" U.K. in 2010. Since then, the group has had No. 1 hits in several countries.
