Stars like Justin Bieber, Nicki Minaj, Emma Stone and more are tweeting in opposition of Joseph Kony, leader of the Lord's Resistance Army, helping to make #StopKony a No. 1 trending topic.
The tweets are part of an online campaign by Invisible Children to raise awareness about Kony's barbaric practices and human rights violations in Uganda. The charity has created a 30-minute viral video called Kony2012 with the goal of making people as aware of Joseph Kony as they are of the 2012 presidential candidates. The video currently has close to 10 million views on YouTube.
Celebs like Lauren Conrad and Ashley Tisdale have simply tweeted #StopKony, while Bieber retweeted a message from 'Never Say Never' director Jon Chu. Meanwhile, Ryan Seacrest, Jasmine Villegas and more have vocalized their thoughts on Kony via Twitter, too.
