Yes, that's James Franco.
Selena Gomez tweeted another photo from the set of Spring Breakers, and we're getting our first look at Franco as his drug-dealer character named Alien.
Fuse explains that Franco wasn't the first choice for the part, based on rapper Riff Raff. The film's director asked Riff Raff to be in the film, the rapper tells Fuse, but he was going to be out of the country.
"The role I would have played would be like a drug dealer, or the friend of a drug dealer, Gucci Mane," Riff Raff says, adding that Franco was already attached to the movie and slated for a different role. "But I was supposed to be in there also. Now James Franco is playing me."
Riff Raff is totally on board with the plan. He even sent Franco clothes so he could do the part justice. "I sent him a few things. But all you gotta do (to see how I dress) is search through my videos. I got a pretty distinct style, with the braids, the jewelry."
