Taylor Swift has opened up about how she remembered Whitney Houston. In an interview held at the premiere of "The Lorax", the "Mine" hitmaker said to E! Online, "I was a huge fan of Whitney." She further gushed, "And I was also a fan of her spirit. She was always smiling and I just always felt like she was relatable."
During the chat outside Universal Studios Hollywood on February 19, Taylor went on explaining, "When I was growing up, I'm pretty sure that was my first exposure to poetry." The former flame of Joe Jonas additionally said, "And I just loved it."
Beside talking about the late Whitney, Taylor shared her thoughts on losing a role in "Les Miserables". "Things sometimes don't happen and it happens all the time, that things don't come together," she said before adding, "But the thing about my life is that everybody seems to know all these different versions of stories that may or may not be true."
At the special screening of "The Lorax", Taylor was joined by Zac Efron. When strolling down the orange carpet, the "Ours" singer and her co-star also teamed up with "When in Rome" actor Danny DeVito, "The Hangover" star Ed Helms and "Hot in Cleveland" actress Betty White.
