Loving It: Taylor Swift on the Grammys and her 'Lorax' co-star Zac Efron

Taylor Swift’s standing ovation at the Grammys this month was one of her top five favorite life moments, ever, along with “buying my cat,” the 22-year-old golden girl dishes to Ellen DeGeneres.

It’s no surprise then that the animal-lover campaigns for the planet in “Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax,” opening March 2, but she’s also singing the praises of the single life.

On going solo: “I’m actually really good at being single, as much as I love to complain about it. I’m actually very independent, and I’m fine. I’m really good by myself.” (“Access Hollywood”)

On those pesky relationship rumors with her “Lorax” co-star Zac Efron: “He is awesome; we are not a couple, though. You hear people get together when they’re shooting movies ... co-stars ... but not animated movie co-stars, you know what I’m saying? ‘Oh my God, as we were recording our voiceovers on separate coasts, we really connected.’” (“The Ellen DeGeneres Show”)

On losing herself in love: “When I’m in love, I’m just stupid about it, and I just trust people, constantly. Then I’m like, ‘I’m not going trust people anymore. I’m going to be one of those dark twisty girls who guys love because they’re all guarded.’” (“The Tonight Show”)

On her guilty pleasures: “ ‘Teen Mom,’ ‘16 and Pregnant,’ ’90s one-hit wonders, watching YouTube videos of kittens, the app CatPaint ... I CatPaint all my pictures. It’s weird.” (Teen Vogue)

On blossoming from awkward teen to style icon: “I look out at the stadiums full of people and see them all knowing the words to songs I wrote ... and curling their hair! I remember straightening my hair because I wanted to be like everybody else, and now the fact that anybody would emulate what I do? It’s just funny. And wonderful.” (Vogue)
