The first music Justin Bieber fans, and anyone else in the world who cares, will hear off of the Canadian pop star's next album, 'Believe', will be out in March. Not the entire record, just the first single.
Bieber communicated that bit of news to fans the way the often communicates news to fans - via twitter. As is also often the case, he wasn't overly detailed. No specific date. No song title. No word on whose song it is (he surely had a hand in the writing) or if another artist is on the track with him.
But the song will be out in March, that much is certain: "And u guys keep asking," Bieber tweeted. "So yeah. my single is NEXT MONTH>#BELIEVE."
As to the title of the song, could be almost anything...or not. Presumably there is a song on the album called 'Believe,' given that he choose that for the album title. So Digital Journal is guessing that's the name of the song. After all, Lady Gaga's first release from 'Born This Way' was, you guessed it, 'Born This Way.'
Now who might be on the single is hard to guess at as Lil Wayne, Justin Timberlake and a host of others have already recorded with him. But while there's been no reports of him recording with girlfriend Selena Gomez, it's certainly a possibility. Be a great start to the record, so that's what we're going with here - a song called 'Believe' with Bieber in a duet with Selena Gomez.
Without a released date it's up to fans and media to speculate and we'll go with March 1st. Why? Because, as every good Bieber fan knows March 1 is Bieber's 18th birthday and what better way to celebrate than release the first track of an album expected to transition you from tween pop star to a young adult? Besides, he tweeted last week that the single was coming "very, very soon."
So you heard it here first - a song called 'Believe' that features a Bieber duet with Selena Gomez and is released on March 1. Never say never, right?
