Justin Bieber gets into the swing of things as he grabs quality time with his young sibling

Justin Bieber can expect to see his already gargantuan popularity levels shoot through the roof after his fans see these pictures.

The pop superstar, 17, played the doting big brother as he spent some quality time with his 2-year-old half-brother Jaxon on Malibu beach this weekend.

Justin and his little brother were chaperoned by their father Jeremy during the boys day out in the sunny Californian city.

And the bond between the brothers was clear to see as Justin held Jaxon in his arms and kept him entertained during their time on the beach.

Justin strutted around in a pair of denim shorts, which he probably should have secured with a belt as they were constantly down by his knees, exposing his briefs.

As temperatures in Malibu are currently averaging 16C, Justin was perfectly comfortable playing with his little brother without a top on - although, he covered his head with a beanie hat and had a pair of red Vans trainers on his feet.

A series of tender moments between the boys took place during their family day out.

At one point Justin walked along the beach hand in hand with his brother, the 15-year age gap clearly not much of a problem for the global superstar.

He was also seen lifting Jaxon up in the air and making faces at him in a typical maneuver used to entertain babies.

Best of all for Jaxon was when his older brother decided to swing him around in circles - the youngster had a huge smile on his face as Justin swung him round and round.

Jaxon is the son of Justin Bieber's father, Jeremy and his wife Erin Wagner, who of course is not Justin's mother.

The couple also have a daughter named Jazmyn, who is 4 years of age.

Meanwhile Justin is hard at work on his new album, Believe, but recently took time out to pay tribute to his movie, Never Say Never, which debuted a year ago.

Bieber celebrated by thanking all of his Beliebers on Twitter - retweeting countless fans, including the man who arguably “made” him, Scooter Braun.

Braun wrote: '"I love being the underdog". Gonna watch this movie again 1 year later. Gonna bring back a lot of memories. #NeverSayNeverFilm.'

Bieber himself kicked off the festivities, tweeting: 'I will NEVER SAY NEVER!! I WILL FIGHT!! I WILL FIGHT FOR FOREVER!! #1Year LOVE YOU.'

The singer also posted a YouTube clip of his Never Say Never trailer, writing: '#1YEARNeverSayNever - youtu.be/tVKMYrL0d4U THANK YOU. Gonna make u #BELIEVE I promise.'

Never Say Never documents Bieber’s rise from small-town Canadian YouTube singer to the biggest pop phenomenon on the planet.

Last month, Bieber celebrated another anniversary: the five-year anniversary of his Kidrauhl YouTube account that made him a star.
