Greyson Chance – Hold on ‘til the night - No chance

Is it possible for 45 million people (the number of YouTube views of his version of Lady Gaga’s Paparazzi) not to see that Chance is... well, um, taking a fat chance? Home Is In Your Nights, Heart Like Stone and Waiting Outside The Lines fail to make a worthwhile impact, which is a statement that can be applied for the bulk of the album. Stranded and Little London Girl prove that Chance is not an entirely terrible singer, but one who can alter his voice to suit the specific feel and tone of a song.

On Running Away, he is required to be soft-spoken, and on the rather self-celebratory Look At Me Now (this is his debut album and he is only 15 years old, so how much can there be to look at?), he steps up to sound like a seasoned artist.

The majority of these tracks are totally unconvincing and will likely fade into oblivion..
