Beyonce, Miley Cyrus and More Embrace One Wild Trend!

Beyonce and Miley Cyrus probably couldn't be more different. Bey has hip-hop mogul Jay-Z and a new baby, Blue Ivy Carter. Cyrus has Liam Hemsworth and some four-legged friends. And while both ladies are popular entertainers, their style of singing is remarkably unlike and they also are at opposite ends of the fashion spectrum. Cyrus has certainly embodied a "Party in the USA" persona with provocative and revealing ensembles that often leave way too little to the imagination and that make her eligible for plenty of fashion police citations. As for Bey, she generally goes for all-out glitter and glam, with just the right amount of her signature sultry appeal.

However, despite their differences, both Cyrus and the "Countdown" songstress, along with a few other notable celebrities, recently embraced the same trend and, well, nailed it. Their fashion-forward and slightly wild statement happened to be rainbow-bright manicures. Miley Cyrus tweeted her proud set of neon nails, done with a shade-your-eyes hue of lime green. Rather than garish, the color looked pretty haute.

Beyonce's mani looked even better, though. The new mom hasn't lost her glow and, when she stepped out for one of her first public appearances since giving birth, her complexion wasn't the only part of her that was glowing. She donned a sparkling midnight-blue cocktail frock and a set of vivid cerulean nails. Gorgeous and avant-garde, all at the same time!

But Beyonce and Miley Cyrus weren't the only trendsetting stars who were looking on the bright side this past week. As Hollywood Life points out, fellow singer Jennifer Hudson wore a strong aqua color that provided the perfect, if not unusual, contrast for her burnt orange dress. And Madonna certainly turned heads at last week's electric Super Bowl halftime show. She didn't forget her nails either, polishing them up with a shiny gold and glitter lacquer, which played into her black-and-gold ensemble.

High fives all around for these hot hues!
