The 19-year-old tweeted two pictures of her new look and it seems ditching her trademark brown locks had just the effect Gomez wanted with her commenting 'Change is good.'
'She wanted something a little more spunky fun and different', Chauntal Lewis, who works at Nine Zero One salon in West Hollywood, where Selena got her hair done, told Hollywood Life.
Ms Lewis added Selena told her stylist wanted something fun and exotic for her upcoming South American.
