It seems like Justin Bieber has won just about every award, trophy, and honor in the world of entertainment. However, he's just won an award that he probably wishes had been bestowed on someone else. Poor JB has just been voted Most Overrated Music Star of 2011 by Soda Head.
Yes, Justin Bieber has won the highly uncoveted title of Most Overrated Music Star of 2011 in a Soda Head poll. And, even worse, the Teen Dream won by a landslide. The Never Say Never star garnered a whopping 53% of the votes, beating out such dubious luminaries as Lady Gaga who won second place with 17%. Trailing the lady were Taylor Swift and Kanye West who, ironically, tied for third place. Astonishingly enough, Katy Perry was the least overrated with a measly 6%. Of course, why should any of this be important. What the hell do those jerks at Soda Head know anyway? Unfortunately for JB and his fellow overrated music stars, Soda Head is reportedly "the web's leading opinion-based community." Oops.
So what does all this portend for Justin Bieber who up till now it seemed could do no wrong? Probably nothing. He's no doubt taking it all in stride. Or not.
Man up, Biebs. You win some and you lose some. That's life.
Note: Wonder if Taylor Swift and Kanye West are arguing over whose third place "Overrated" status was undeserved?
