Demi Lovato put on her host hat for MTV as she helped ring in the New Year with the network. The "Skyscraper" singer did a great job on camera, and a lot of people really enjoyed watching her.
"Demi took to the stage alongside Teen Wolf star Tyler Posey to keep the festivities moving. She ALSO sang her hit Give Your Heart A Break and sounded AMAZING, per usual," reports Hollywood Life.
Lovato was such an inspiration to so many people in 2011 and it seems only right that she would take part in MTV's 2012 countdown. It's great that she was asked to participate and that she accepted the offer. When people think of 2011 and the most influential people of the year, the songstress' name will definitely come up. She managed to overcome some of her demons and proved to be a great role model to teens (and really anyone who has suffered through depression or body image issues).
Demi Lovato will likely continue on her positive journey in 2012 and her fans can't wait to see what she does next.
