Demi Lovato treated her Twitter followers and fans to a little Christmas Eve present by releasing a lyric music video for her new single, Give Your Heart a Break. The songstress also teased fans with the idea that a full music video will be hitting the web in January! The lyric video is embedded below for interested fans.
The singer's initial tweet landed about halfway through Christmas Eve and stated: "Merry Christmas Eve everybody!! My lyric video for my next single is now live!! [YouTube link]"
The lyric video actually goes beyond the usual habit of many singers - releasing their new single on YouTube against a one-photo backdrop that never moves throughout the entire song. In this video Demi Lovato is actually present. It opens with Demi and her vivid red hair fully on display! The songstress picks up a green journal shown in the first frames and beings to jot down the song's lyrics as the music plays in the background.
Maybe more stars will adopt a similar artsy technique to announcing their new single to the world. Major props to Demi for opting for creativity over the industry standard - it will be interesting to see where she takes the actual music video after this neat lyrical introduction!
