Demi Lovato is famous for her fierce looks and fashion-forward trends. This week, the multi-talented singer and actress got the coolest new 3D manicure on her pretty fingers done by the famous celebrity manicurist Nail Kandi. Lovato was so excited about her manicure that she Tweeted about it while they were in process, and then posted a photo on Twitter once her nail style was complete.
For those who aren't familiar with 3D nails, they aren't your ordinary flat one tone polish. 3D nails have texture, can be surprisingly thick, and are really mini pieces of art. While traditional manicures have all nails in one traditional color, manicurist Kandi is famous for her amazing designs and having each nail completely different.
Demi Lovato's nails, for example, are stunning. Her thumb is painted black, and has a silver zipper on it. Her pointer finger looks like a thick and delicious ice cream cone! Her middle finger, as well as her pinky, are a thick shiny black, and her ring finer is a green, black, and pink design. While traditionally the ends of nails are smooth and curved, these nails are more pointy, adding to the fierce feel.
Late night on December 13, 2011, Demi Lovato Tweeted "Getting my nails done by @MmmKandiYamz.... Will tweet a picture when we're done!!! #Yayyy." Two hours later came the second tweet and the photo, "Thank you @mmmkandiyamz for my BOMB nails!!!!"
