Selena Gomez may be standing by her man while he deals with baby daddy drama, but she's going to have to re-focus on her own self soon.
E! News reported a Los Angeles judge dismissed a case against the Disney starlet's stalker Wednesday.
In the preliminary hearing, Superior Court Judge Edmund Willcox Clarke, Jr. said he didn't find concrete evidence to believe 46-year-old Thomas Broadnicki would hurt the 19-year-old and therefore freed him from jail.
According to the Washington Post, Gomez was not present during the hearing but district attorney spokeswoman Sandi Gibbons said she "strenuously objected" to Clarke's ruling.
She added her office will continue to fight for Gomez and look for other options, including re-filing the case.
Broadnicki has a history of mental illness and was being held on $150,000 bail after his Halloween day arrest.
In a sworn declaration, Gomez wrote he had threatened to kill her and that she was in "extreme fear.”
He will still have to comply to a restraining order that requires him to stay at least 100 yards away from the singer/actress. On November 23, a judge will decide if the order needs to stay in place for the next three years.
Hopefully Justin Bieber's pumping some iron as he might need to protect his girlfriend in the near future.
