Rolling Stone Calls Joe Jonas' "Fastlife" A "Flop." Good Thing No One Trusts RS Anymore

"Fastlife" might be a flop, but not because Rolling Stone says so.

Joe Jonas has one more thing to worry about: a disappointing review from Rolling Stone , which gave him 2 out of 5 stars. Ouch.

Good thing the American music magazine has about as much credibility these days as your average Tumblr blog. And while the mag's reviewer didn't care for Joe's "Fastlfie," his fans gave it a 4.5 out of 5 on the official Rolling Stone site.

The magazine was extremely blunt, saying "As a vocalist and a presence, Jonas is a flop. He sounds strained, simpering—like one of those High School Musical Disney kids trying to sing R&B."

The review also compares Joe to Justin Timberlake, who's the model for any former boy bander trying to launch a solo career. Unfortunately, most reviewers agree that Joe lacks the effortless charm and smooth vocals that Timberlake possesses in spades.

But what do you think about "Fastlife"? Does Joe's debut album really sound like a flop to you?
