Demi Lovato is going through enough in her life. Lovato's working hard and riding a comeback high after her rehab stay. Now, there's something else for the Skyscraper singer to deal with: her estranged and cancer ridden father Patrick Lovato.
However, he is only asking for a phone call and her love.
Speaking to Radar Online, Patrick said, "I love her so much, and I just want her to call me. This is the only way I can talk to her, I try to reach her but it never works. It is not like I want anything from her, all I want is her love."
Patrick's anguish was evident during the interview. He was openly weeping and said it had been about a year since he'd spoken to Demi. She had called him during her rehab stay to discuss his cancer. Sadly, there's been no contact since that phone call.
Patrick said, "She told me she loved me, she really loves her daddy. She told me she's getting better. All I've got here is my dog Daytona but I've offered to let Demi come and stay here any time she wants. My health isn't what it used to be and I know my daughter loves her daddy, so please call me Demi. I'm so proud that she's doing what she did, I knew the day she was born that she was special to me, but I didn't know she would be so special to so many people."
The choice is Demi Lovato's now. Will the Disney darling find some time in her busy schedule to give her father a call?
