Demi Loavto recently admitted that she was extremely nervous before singing the national anthem for Game 5 of the World Series between the Texas Rangers and St. Louis Cardinals.
MTV reports that although Demi Lovato is used to performing in front of large crowds, Lovato was nervous about singing the national anthem in her home state of Texas for Game 5 of the 2011 World Series.
MTV News was with Demi Lovato 15 minutes before she took to the field at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington, where Lovato admitted she was on edge. "I feel like I'm about to jump out of a plane," said Lovato as she warmed up in a backroom at the stadium. "Although this is a lot safer."
After Demi Loavto sang the Star Spangled Banner in front of 51,000 baseball fans, MTV reports that Lovato was at ease as she walked back to the greenroom to meet friends and family who congratulated her on a job well done.
