Demi Lovato was treated to a surprise a short while ago when she turned on the TV to find her first boyfriend, Cameron Mitchell, on The Glee Project. The teen sensation tweeted about it saying: "Oh my God.... Just saw my first boyfriend ever on The Glee Project... Just died!!! Small world!!!! Hahahaha."
On the reality show to cast a new Glee cast member, Mitchell played the "most likely to be a nerd forever." The fact that he dated Demi Lovato certainly proves otherwise. But in a shocking move, the wannabe actor left the show last night because of religious beliefs. When asked if he would be able to kiss Lea Michele if they wrote it into the role, Mitchell was unable to answer 'yes.' Ryan Murphy, the creator of Glee, had this to say to the actor: "I'm sad. I feel like I could have written you a role and I do think that you could have gone all the way to the finals, because I think you could have touched so many people." Demi Lovato's one-time boyfriend still chose to leave the show and bow out of the competition. Certainly a bold move, since stars like Lea Michele and Cory Monteith rose to fame on Glee.
All of this begs the question - did Cameron Mitchell ever kiss Demi Lovato? The two dated when they were young, but chances are probably yes. Something must be in that water to produce two stars!
