Taylor Swift looks up into the crowd with a smile on her face as she performs at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on Tuesday night (July 19).
The 21-year-old musician had a bit of a surprise in store for her fans — and herself — at the concert. The balcony flew 200 feet in the air!
Normally, T soars above the entire audience in a standalone “Romeo and Juliet”-style balcony structure. But yesterday, the balcony went up 200 feet in the air, abruptly stopped, and rocked from side to side.
“Newark!!! What a crazy, off the hook, bouncy, loud, dancy crowd. I love you, Jersey crowds. Night 1 of 4!,” Taylor tweeted.
