Greyson Chance may be rubbing shoulders with some of Hollywood’s most iconic names, but this 13-year-old pop sensation knows the importance of caring for fellow Oklahoma children. On May 25, Chance visited children at The Children’s Hospital at OU Medical Center and filmed a short interview with Children’s Hospital Foundation supported physician, Dr. Terrence Stull for the VEVO show “Area Codes.” The video also showcases Chance’s favorite hometown locations.
Chance has selected Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and Children’s Hospital Foundation as his charity of choice to receive a $5,000 gift from VEVO to ensure that Oklahoma children have access to exceptional pediatric specialists without having to leave the state.
When the film stopped rolling, Chance took a private tour of the facilities, signed autographs for patients and visited children in the pediatric dialysis unit.
“It was an honor to visit The Children’s Hospital in Oklahoma City,” Chance said. “The children there are truly inspiring.”
Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals is an international nonprofit organization dedicated to helping children by raising funds and awareness while keeping 100 percent of donations in the community where they are raised.
