Young cancer patients meet Taylor Swift

For 11 little girls living with cancer, the Taylor Swift concert is just what the doctor ordered.

The girls enjoyed Swift's Wednesday night concert in a private suite, courtesy of the Bradley Center, Grafton-based KAPCO Inc., and the Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer.

The lucky girls were chosen by staff at Children's Hospital.

One of the girls, however, was unable to make the concert because she was too sick to leave the hospital.

And before the start of the show, the surprise of a lifetime: The girls were invited backstage to meet Swift herself, who greeted them all with hugs.

Said MACC Fund Executive Director John Cary: "On a night like tonight, they're just little girls. And they're here to have fun just live everybody else."
