Former 'American Idol' contestant Danny Gokey has been touring, and this summer he will join one of the largest current acts on tour. He is scheduled to open on select dates for Taylor Swift when the Grammy winner tours North America this summer.
Gokey hopped on Twitter to proclaim his excitement about being included on the tour:

Gokey isn’t playing every summer date for Taylor. Others that will play select dates with Swift include Josh Kelley, James Wesley, Charlie Worsham, Frankie Ballard, Randy Montana, and Hunter Hayes.
The lucky dates that will get to see Gokey are:
June 18 – Pittsburgh, Pa.
July 8 – Charlotte, N.C.
July 9, 10 – Atlanta, Ga
July 14 – Montreal, Quebec
July 15, 16 – Toronto, Ontario
July 19, 20, 23, 24 – Newark, N.J.
Taylor is currently in Europe continuing her tour. Swift had a very successful swing through Asia, playing for several sold-out performances.
