Press representatives have moved to end the rumour that Selena Gomez was attacked by a fan last week.
The rumours began last week when Selena was spotted on a date with her new boyfriend Justin Bieber, appearing to be hiding a swollen lip from the paparazzi cameras.
Fans of both Selena and Justin took to Twitter, Facebook and forums to speculate as to what had happened with many suspecting a jealous Justin Bieber fan had punched Selena after the pair announced themselves as a couple just days before.
This, of course, is all lies however and Selena's team have moved to end any speculation by telling People Magazine that thereis "absolutely no truth" in the stories.
