Kanye West jumped on the Justin Bieber train last year when he remixed the pop star's "Runaway Love." It was an unexpected move from a man known for making unexpected moves. The track is now featured on Bieber's Never Say Never - The Remixes album, set for release on Valentine's Day.
"[West] reproduced the 'Runaway' joint, and I'm really excited," Bieber shared with MTV News about the track. He also gave some insight into what it's like to work with the sometimes-misunderstood MC.
"It was amazing," he gushed. "He's such a cool guy, and he's just really laid back and just nice, and at the end of the day, he's just a nice person."
Though, Bieber did share one quirk about the Chicago native: "It's funny, because he doesn't even use a phone; he just sends e-mail," the pop star revealed. "It's so crazy. I'm like, 'How can you not use a phone?' "
Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun, teased the album and 'Ye's appearance in a chat with fans, noting that the MC wasn't the only big name set to appear on the album. "Yes, Justin is working on new music," Braun teased after playing a clip of a new Bieber song, which he said might drop on Valentine's Day. "He's been talking to Drake about new music. [Bieber] and Kanye had a call today about a song they're trying to work on together; Kanye wants to produce a bunch of new songs for the new album. He's talked with Rascal Flatts. Him and Chris Brown have been sending stuff back and forth to each other."
