When Demi Lovato left rehab in late January, it was said that she is focusing on getting back to her regular routine, and words are, it involves Joe Jonas. According to celebrity blogger Zack Taylor, the songstress playing Sonny Munroe on "Sonny with a Chance" has started talking to her ex-boyfriend once again.
It is noted that the 18-year-old beauty is back on speaking terms with the middle member of the Jonas Brothers after she finished her rehab stint recently. "They have been in communication with each other since she's been back in Los Angeles," a source informed Zack. Still, the source added, "But don't expect them to hang out anytime soon."
Demi, who confirmed her split from Joe in late May 2010, checked into a treatment center in late October the same year after she got into a fight with dancer Alex Welch on the Jonas Brothers World Tour. She has since reached financial settlement with Alex over the physical altercation, and was released from rehab in January to continue with an outpatient program.
An inside source explained to MTV News at the time, "Demi will continue to focus first and foremost on her well-being. To that end, she will continue to see doctors in L.A. who will help her work on the issues she confronted in treatment." The insider added, "She is so grateful to all of her fans for their unbelievable support and looks forward to being able to talk to all of them very soon."
