Miley Cyrus is considering action against the blog ZackTaylor.ca after it published nude photos and originally claimed that they were of Miley.Zack Taylor has since said that it was a hoax and that the pictures were of a girl in London who has an uncaany likeness to Miley Cyrus.
Originally the site claimed that the pictures, showing a semi-naked woman wearing a plaid skirt, were photos that Miley had sexted to her ex-boyfriend Liam Hemsworth.
Just Breathe
Miley's management have issued denials that the picture was Miley right from the start. They pointed out that Miley has a tattoo that says 'Just Breathe' under left breast and the model in the picture doesn't.
The former Disney star, say her spokespeople, is also skinnier than Miley, and in fact doesn't look much like Miley in the nude at all. The model does have Miley's same wavy hair and also is wearing her trademark bracelets.
The blog site had originally claimed that they got the pictures from a an i-Phone that Miley Cyrus had lost. The backtracking on the story from ZackTaylor.ca seems an attempt to avoid litigation. Media watchers are mixed in opinion as to wether it would serve Ms Cyrus well to sue or not. Bloggers too will watch with interest, some with trepidation, as a successful case against the blog would set an important precedent, especially when the it comes to 'spoof' postings.
