MARK Wahlberg has urged Justin Bieber to keep on being a good boy!
The former Hollywood bad boy thinks it’s important for 16-year-old Baby singer Bieber to remain a good role model for his young fans.
“Whatever he wants to do, as long as he stays a positive role model it’s all good. If not, I’ll give him a wedgie,” Mark said.
“My daughter liked Justin Bieber so my daughter wanted to meet him and so I got him on the phone and then we went and met him and he was very nice but it’s not like I listen to the music or anything like that.”
Mark — who was known as Marky Mark in his earlier years and became famous in his 1991 debut as a rap musician with the band Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch — recently admitted he almost didn’t become an actor.
“At first I was against the idea (of acting),” he says. “The things that were coming my way — I mean, I was offered Sister Act 2, which was not the right move. But then I got Renaissance Man, and the director, Penny Marshall, she challenged me. And she was a real person, and I connected with her in a way I hadn’t connected with other people.”
“I felt like I had found my niche.
“I knew this was what I wanted to do. But I also knew it was going to be an uphill battle. If I wanted to be in it for the long haul, I was going to have to take it one role at a time and find people I could learn from.”
