The Road Dogs softball team kicked off their season in Joliet, IL today against the Marquis Jet Flyers.
The Road Dogs scored 2 runs in the top of the first inning, but the Jet Flyers answered right back, tying it in the bottom of the first. In the 7th inning, the Road Dogs rallied for 7 runs, making the score 14-12, but came up 2 runs short in the end. The Jet Flyers won the game with a final score of 14-12.
Despite the loss, it was a great kick off to the Road Dogs season. Close to 7,000 amazing fans filled the stadium. The Road Dogs next stop is in Hartford, CT on August 13. Stay tuned to Cambio News for the exclusive details on how you can get tickets.
