Taylor Swift says that she is "a trusting person".
Instead of being wary of new people that she meets, the Everyday Is A Fairytale singer prefers to see the best in others.
"Generally I'm a trusting person, I'm not that girl who walks into a room and suspects everyone of having ulterior motives," says Taylor.
"When you get paranoid like that it shuts you off from the world and from the people you could get to like," continued Swift. "I'll trust someone up until they give me reason not to. At that point, it's over."
The 20-year-old, whose life story has been turned into a comic book, went on to add: "I'll never keep forgiving someone after they continually hurt me. I've been let down before and I haven't been able to forgive them if I'm dealt a low blow."
"When someone really hurts you, you just have to let them go and move on."
