Lady Gaga wasn’t the only pop singer who had to weather tough times as she pegged her way up the success ladder, but Justin Bieber as well.
“I grew up below the poverty line,” Bieber reveals, “It made me stronger.”
His mother Pattie Mallette and him survived on local church hand-outs.
“I sang but it was just for fun. I never took it seriously. I was really focused on sports,” says Bieber.
Recently joking, Bieber, 16, also exclaimed on how he could whip all three Jonas Brothers in a fight.
“I could take ‘em!” he says, “I could probably take all three. I have a good punch so I could take them all out!”
