Selena Gomez has done something that many people would have thought impossible. She's punk'd Justin Bieber. And, reportedly, JB got so freaked out he called her from Mexico City in a total panic. What? Sweet little Selena Gomez has punk'd her master prankster boyfriend? What on earth could she have done to rattle the Teen Dream so badly? She told him she's getting a grill.
For the truly out of touch, a grill is a set of fake gold teeth worn by rappers. As true beliebers no doubt recall, Justin Bieber punk'd his fans in exactly the same way on September 3, when a shocking pic hit the Internet featuring the Teen Dream posing with a set of gold teeth created by a guy named Ben Baller. Beliebers freaked out, immediately flooding Twitter with messages like:
"SWAG MASTER BIEBER is trending and i heard your getting a grill. DONTTTTT!"
and
"NOOOOO PLEASE DONT, ur smile is perfect"
Obviously, no harm came to JB's perfect pearly whites. Justin later admitted that the photo was "just a joke. no biggie."
Fast forward 30 days. On October 3, Selena Gomez met with the same guy and sent her busily touring beau a photo of herself posing with him in front of what looks like a trailer. The accompanying message asked:
"Guess who's getting a grill?"
Panicked, Justin reportedly called Ben Baller immediately from Mexico City, and "he was like 'cmon bro. is she really getting a grill? please say it's a joke'".
Poor Justin Bieber. Apparently, the Biebs plays so many pranks, he has trouble remembering them all. Or not. Maybe he just never expected Selena to prank him back.
