Cate Blanchett and Orlando Bloom served as the guests on Monday’s (June 18) episode of The Late Late Show with James Corden alongside Niall Horan!
After host James asks Cate about working with Orlando in the past on The Lord of the Rings trilogy, they learn Orlando had a crush on Cate the first time they worked together.
“I can’t think — I had such a crush. I had the biggest crush on you,” Orlando, 41, admitted. “Well, it was your character!,” Cate, 49, insisted before Orlando said, “No, it was me!”
“I didn’t recognize you, because the first time I saw you, you had hair — like Fabio hair and blue eyes,” Cate recalled. “And then I just saw you — who is this really cute guy out of drama school — and I didn’t put two and two [together].”
