Multiple fatalities have been confirmed after explosions at Ariana Grande‘s concert in Manchester, England on Monday night (May 22).
The police have released an official statement on the incident, which reportedly happened as concertgoers were trying to exit the venue around 10:40pm local time.
“Emergency services are currently responding to reports of an explosion at Manchester Arena,” the police statement read. “There are a number of confirmed fatalities and others injured. Please AVOID the area as first responders work tirelessly at the scene. Details of a casualty bureau will follow as soon as possible.”
Ariana‘s rep has already released a statement saying that she is “okay” and that they are investigating what happened.
