Demi Lovato is getting sued by indie duo Sleigh Bells, who claim that the singer copied elements from their song “Infinity Guitars” in her track “Stars.”
The music group originally brought the copyright infringement to Demi‘s attention last year when they sent her a tweet saying they were not contacted about the sampling.

The song’s producers Carl Falk and Rami Yacoub denied sampling “Infinity Guitars” last year but the group has moved forward with the lawsuit.
Sleigh Bells claims that Demi‘s song features “virtually identical content” and elements that “transcend the realm of coincidence.”
