By now it's not much of a surprise that it was Nick Jonas who got the ball rolling on the Jonas Brothers breakup, but Kevin Jonas is finally telling his side of the story. Actually, there aren't a lot of new details, but it's nice to hear that, above all, their family was the most important thing.
During a new interview with HuffPost Live, Kevin was asked about what broke up the band. He explained, "Being able to play shows and travel together was great, but then once at the end there, the friction was too much and we just really needed to break away and kind of do our own things for some time. I think that's why we're close now, because we're not in the band,"
He continued, "By not being in the band together...that constant butting of heads of working together and being family. We chose to be a family, not a band."
