Taylor Swift has confessed she once used permanent marker pen as eyeliner while on board a flight.
The singer-songwriter used a Sharpie on her eyes when she realised she didn't have any make-up with her.
As the face of CoverGirl cosmetics, Taylor is used to the interest in her beauty regime, but advises against the use of a pen.
"I once used a Sharpie as eyeliner in an airplane bathroom because I didn't have any with me. I don't recommend it," She joked.
In the last year Taylor has undergone a style transformation that has seen her evolve from a pretty blonde country star to an international fashion icon.
The 22-year-old singer has already graced the cover of fashion magazine Vogue and is admired for her striking natural beauty.
Although she doesn't always wear make-up, Taylor loves trying out new styles.
"I really like changing my look around. My hair and make-up really determine how I look", she confessed in an interview with www.refinery29.com.
Taylor stars in an upcoming CoverGirl advert which required her to experiment with new beauty tricks.
Although she enjoyed the chance to try out a range of different make-up products, Taylor sticks to what she knows best when it comes to her own beauty regime.
"I love red lips and a cat-eye", she explained. "That's been my go to for a few years now."
