Selena Gomez dedicates a song to her mother at the UNICEF concert

Selena Gomez's mother, Mandy Dawn Teefy, suffered a miscarriage in December, and to help Mandy feel better, Selena has dedicated her a song last Saturday in the UNICEF concert at the House of Blues, Sunset Boulevard in LA.

"My mom couldn't be here today. I know these songs are gonna be on YouTube, so Mom, this one's for you!" Gomez told the crowd before singing "The House that Built Me." This gesture shows that Selena is always thinking about her family and friends, although she has to be away from them for a long time because of her job.

Despite her young age, Selena Gomez is one of the most famous and richest girls in America, but is also aware of the situation of other children who do not have the same fate. So, whenever she has a little time, she tries to fit charity events on her schedule; for example, this concert for UNICEF. Her boyfriend Justin Bieber and her dog Baylor were accompanying Selena in the concert, and also some of her friends like Ashley Tisdale.

It would be great if other celebrities join Selena and make concerts to support this great causes, because the poverty in the world is still increasing and those who have big fortunes are the ones that can help people who do not have the same luck.
