Justin Bieber has stepped up and shown his support for Helene Campbell. After more than 24 hours of waiting for a tweet, Helene Campbell was finally retweeted and recognized by Justin. In the wee hours of Saturday morning, the Canadian singer sent not one, but three messages to the woman who begged him to help her cause get recognized.
Helene began her campaign on Thursday morning, but it looked like Justin was going to ignore her pleas. This super kid heard her pleas and is on board. He retweeted her original message which asked him to spread the word about organ donation to his 16 million Twitter followers. Justin tweeted, "@alungstory i got the word....you have amazing strength. i got u."
Justin Bieber has a pretty strong set of morals and after what was most likely a lot of discussion with his team, he did what he thought was right. He followed up with his original message, "help spread the word for @alungstory." What is even more amazing, he sent these tweets out after hanging with his girlfriend, Selena Gomez, at her UNICEF concert.
His third and final tweet to Helene gave her a little encouragement, "and @alungstory NEVER SAY NEVER." Helene's chances of receiving a double-lung transplant are slim and she has accepted that, but Justin is telling her not to give up hope yet. His support will help make this difficult time a little easier for Helene to navigate.
Hopefully, the Canadian organ donor site was prepared for the influx of visitors. It would be even more amazing if Justin and Helene's combined efforts manage to save even one life.
