Justin Bieber Touting 'Proactiv' Products

Justin Bieber is now touting the merits of a very popular acne skin care solution in a new television advertisement. He is the new spokesperson for Proactiv. Claiming to suffer from occasional acne himself, the Biebs sounds more than happy to be promoting a product he claims really works for him.

According to a report from Hollywood Life, it was almost immediately after Justin first started performing professionally that he began having some serious issues with acne.

"I hold the mic up to my chin a lot and I started to get acne; Proactiv definitely helps," Justin explains.

Do you think Justin will be a good spokesperson for Proactiv? Do you think the fact that he readily admits to having occasional issues with acne that it will make other teens feel less awkward about suffering from it themselves and seeking a reputable treatment?

This might be one of the best advertising campaigns Proactiv has ever done. Doesn't it make you wonder, however, how much they have to pay Justin for being their spokesperson? Hiring the Baby and Never Say Never singer has to come with a fairly hefty price tag.

Would you be more inclined to buy Proactiv now that Justin Bieber is touting its merits? How about the teenagers in your life? Would they view him as a credible spokesperson or simply an overpaid employee?

Do you suppose this will encourage Proactiv to invite Justin's girlfriend Selena Gomez on board? They are both known as honest individuals with great integrity—exactly the kind of people companies want to advertise their products.
