Last week saw the end of her stint as a Disney favourite on Wizards of Waverly Place so what better way to mark the end of an era than with a grown up new look.
Selena Gomez was clearly only beginning the transformation from child star to adult pop star and actress when she revealed a daring hairdo recently, it seems the star’s dress sense is getting adventurous too.
The 19-year-old showed a more mature look on Friday evening as she arrived at the House of Blues on Sunset Boulevard.
The actress and singer was holding her second annual bash to benefit UNICEF at the historic musical venue in West Hollywood and her innovative blue and purple hair extensions weren’t the only thing that caught eyes.
Looking rather grown-up in a nude maxi-skirt, the teen sensation flashed the flesh by wearing a belly-baring top.
The star’s white t-shirt was cut to gathering the middle, leaving two areas of her stomach on show.
Gomez accessorised her look with a long chain and pendant which reached down to the belly button.
She finished off the look with a pink band around her wrist to recognise the charity which helps save children’s lives.

Earlier in the day, Selena expressed her excitement for the event held on Los Angeles’ famous Strip.
She told Twitter followers: ‘Y'all ready for the UNICEF show tonight? See you in 5 hours.’
The show was hailed to be a big one with her friends in the band, Big Time Rush, in attendance.
All week, rumours have been rife that her boyfriend, Justin Bieber, 17, planned to make a surprise appearance which proved to be true.
The brunette also has celebrity pal Ashley Tisdale, 26, on hand backstage for support and she tweeted a pic them with some other associates.
She captioned it: ‘Lots of love for the UNICEF show :)’
Selena has been an ambassador for the charity for two years, and has even travelled to Ghana and Chile to bring awareness about certain issues.
In 2011 she helped launch Celebrity Tap, which raised money to help UNICEF provide water and sanitation programs in Togo, the Central African Republic and Vietnam.
This isn't be the first time Justin has supported one of his beau’s actions. He showed up at the start of her 2011 summer tour, performing a mash-up of Favorite Girl and Justin Timberlake's Cry Me a River.
Stand out moments of the acoustic concert tonight included her cover of Miranda Lambert’s The House That Built Me, which she dedicated to her mother, who suffered a miscarriage last month.
Gomez also announced that Ethan Roberts, a member of her band The Scene was leaving and wished him the best for his future projects.
She can surely understand moving onwards and upwards.
Recently Selena bid a farewell of her own when the final series of her children’s television show ended.
She wrote on her Facebook page: ‘You Guys, I honestly can't thank you enough for being a part of the best 4 years of my life! Wizards was SO important to me and I'm SO happy so many of you watched the series come to an end.
'I loved the whole experience and I'm so grateful for it. I love you guys! I hope to continue to do more things you guys enjoy watching! :)’
